The buyer was Indianapolis-based developer Lauth, which has its western regional headquarters in Belleview Tower. The purchase price for the Class-A office building wasn't disclosed.
The 12-story building, at 7887 E. Belleview Blvd. in Greenwood Village, opened in 1982.
Lauth said it would immediately began a multimillion-dollar renovation plan for the 195,627-square-foot building. Among the improvements planned are new finishes for the lobby, elevators and bathroom as well as new paint, carpet and lighting.
"This renovation project will take Belleview Tower to a new level of sophistication," said Austin Lehr, Western Regional Partner at Lauth. "Lauth expects Belleview Tower to become one of the most sought-after office buildings in the area."
Belleview Tower is 87 percent leased.
